Drop 02 — Forged Cross-Peen Hammer
A working cross-peen hammer, not a collectible. The 2.5-pound head is hand-drawn from 4140 tool steel, normalized, oil-quenched, and tempered to 52HRC — hard enough to hold an edge on the peen but not so hard it chips. The handle is American hickory, rasped smooth, oiled with raw linseed, and wedged with two cross-wedges for a head that won't ever loosen. Numbered 1–20 on the poll.
